Conducting surveys
Nettskjema is a tool for designing and conducting online surveys, developed and operated by University of Oslo. It is a flexible service that can be used for surveys and data collection, complying with Norwegian data safety legislation.
SurveyXact is tool to conduct questionnaire-based surveys – allowing to design and distribute questionnaires, to monitor and manage data collection and to analyse the results.
Students and researchers who are going to process personal data in a research project, need to notify NSD (Norsk Senter for Forskningsdata). The notification must be sent at least 30 days before data collection begins. If you are collecting anonymous data only, NSD does not need to be notified. Personal data is any data that can be linked to a person, including voice recordings.
