About PhD Connect
PhD Connect is a monthly series of social gatherings for all PhD’s at the University of Agder, which is organized by the University Library. Its aim is to create a social space for PhD’s across all faculties, doctoral programs and fields, where it will be possible to have discussions, gain new knowledge and share ideas with your peers in a relaxed and friendly setting.
The format of this event is 30 minutes of socializing with coffee, tea and biscuits (bring your own lunch), followed by a 30-minute presentation of a topic associated with the PhD situation or the research process. We very much welcome questions, debate and sharing of ideas during the session.
Regular time: Last Thursday of every month (with the occasional exception), 11.00am-12.00am

The topics covered at PhD Connect usually relate in some way to the Ph.D. situation or research process, for example in relation to information searching, researching, writing, and publishing.
