Quality Assessment tool for Quantitative Studies /EPHPP -
The Effective Public Health Practice Project and the McMaster Evidence-Based Practice Centre combine their vast expertise in the conducting of systematic reviews to the establishment of the McMaster Evidence Review and Synthesis Centre (MERSC). TThe two researched groups joined when they recieved a grant of 3.5 million dollars over 5 years from CIHR to help created guidelines for the Canadian Task Force on Preventive Health Care (CTFPHC) from 2010-2015.

Kvalitetsgranskningen syftar till att bedöma i vilken utsträckning resultatet för en enskild studie beror av systematiska fel (bias). Granskningsmallar (checklistor) används som stöd för bedömningen. SBU har utvecklat egna granskningsmallar för randomiserade studier, observationsstudier och studier med kvalitativ metodik. För systematiska översikter använder SBU checklistan AMSTAR och för diagnostiska studier QUADAS."
COSMIN check list
"The COSMIN checklist contains standards for design requirements and preferred statistical methods of studies on the measurement properties of health measurement instruments. The checklist can be used to determining if a study on measurement properties meets the standards for good methodological quality."
